Surprise Proposal | Chicago Engagement Photographer
On 12-13-14 I documented a lovely lakeside proposal. Adam had scouted Independence Grove the weekend before to find the perfect spot, and we’d talked back and forth about how best to capture the moment. Originally I had planned to hide in the cover of some fir trees, but since they were so far removed from the lake, we decided it would work better if I instead pretended to be taking nature photos of a slightly closer tree.
It was a chilly, overcast day, but at about 2pm all that was forgotten when Adam and Madison appeared together walking down the path. As I pretended to take tree photos, I snapped a few of their approach. Moments later Adam was on his knee and Madison was saying YES! It was a beautiful moment with just the two of them, and I was so honored to capture it all!!
Here are some photos from the proposal and check out her gorgeous ring at the end! *swoon*
Congratulations!
Hello, I stumbled across your website and was possibly interested surprise proposal photography pictures and then some pictures after. With my current plans I’m looking at 12/5 sometime at night. Probably will be somewhere in/near Millennium Park. If that date/time looks good I’d definitely be interested in discussing more! Thanks! ethanlongstreet@comcast.net
