I’m so excited and happy for Satu and her husband who are soon to welcome a baby girl!

I know Satu from when we used to live in Indiana. So when my husband and I drove down the other weekend, it was the perfect opportunity to not only catch up with friends, but to sneak in a quick maternity session. While the men were cooking dinner (lucky us!), Satu and I headed over to a nearby nature preserve to take photos. The storm clouds were rolling in and the sun was about to dip behind the horizon, but we still got some great shots. In fact, the timing couldn’t have been better, because just as we finished the first drops of rain arrived.

Sweet baby girl is due next month 🙂 Here are a few highlights from the session!
