Olivia’s senior session took place in one of the most gorgeous locations I’ve shot in all year: an island off the coast of Maine. As much as I love photographing in Chicago, it’s wonderful to photograph in completely different places every now and then. Olivia and I were both already on the island for a family vacation, so we’d planned on the session taking place the last evening we were there.

As clouds rolled in and the weather looked grim, I began worrying we’d made a mistake leaving this session to the last day. Luckily for us, an hour or two before we were to start, the sun peeked back out and the weather was absolutely perfect by the time we got going.

I’ve known Olivia all her life, and getting the opportunity to take her senior photos was a complete pleasure. She is a beautiful person inside and out and I think it shows in all her photos 🙂 Olivia, I hope you have the best senior year. And I look forward to someday having you on the other side of my lens again!
