I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet couple’s proposal on September 4th. Mike and Jamie were visiting from Boston for the long weekend, and Mike had planned a secret proposal at Chicago’s Milton L. Olive Park. This park has a gorgeous view of the city skyline. The clouds were very low this day, and it gave a beautiful dreamy look to the city.

Walking out to the overlook area, Mike took out the ring and got down on one knee. Jamie said Yes! Little did she know I had been photographing the entire thing 😉 (Look for the photo of Jamie looking at the camera with a surprised look on her face). After the proposal, we took some more shots around the area and these two were a breeze to photograph because of how head over heels they clearly are for each other.

I just loved getting the chance to meet and photograph these two, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness!

I love when couples get goofy for the camera! Congrats you two!!
