The second model at the Kimmy Howard Photography newborn workshop was sweet little Greyson. Although Greyson’s session was shorter than our first one, I found myself more confident and taking stronger photographs and therefore ending up with more final shots I was pleased with. I was less focused on the exact setup of my shot, and more involved in the overall composition and testing out various angles rather than trying to nail just one perfect one.

Kimmy also let those of us who don’t currently own a macro lens to try hers out. You’ll see my shot in the last photo in this post of Greyson’s toes. Along with the macro, we all had fun swapping around each other’s lenses and while I love my current lens, I cannot wait to add some more to my bag!
