Kevin and Priya got engaged on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon in downtown Chicago. Kevin had secretly reserved a room with a terrace at the Conrad Hotel. While Priya was out getting pampered, he set up a candle-lit path to the outside balcony where flowers and a ring awaited.

After arriving and getting some detail shots, I took to the terrace to await Priya’s entrance. Although she must have guessed something was up, her reaction when Kevin got on one knee and asked her to marry him was full of surprise and happy tears. Soaking in the joyous moment, we took some additional photos of the newly engaged couple before the rest of the family arrived to give their congratulations.
