Last month I had the pleasure of getting to know and work with Sarah from Sarah Severson Photography. I assisted as her 2nd shooter for a lovely wedding in Evanston, IL on an absolutely gorgeous day. Sarah is a great planner, calm amidst the normal wedding day hustle and bustle, and as sweet as can be!

We started the afternoon with the wedding party as they finished getting ready, and then had a first look with the bride and groom in front of the church. It was magical! Then, with the pre-wedding jitters out of the way, the bride and groom enjoyed taking photos with the rest of the bridal party as well as some family.

A 4pm wedding service followed during which the pastor spoke beautifully about love and how important it is to share it with the world. After the receiving line, the wedding party hopped in a limo and off to the beach at the lake for some more wedding photos.

To top off the evening was a lovely courtyard cocktail hour and reception filled with all the must-have moments: toasts, cakes cutting, first dances, and good food and drink!
