David proposed to Yoonie on a beautiful evening by the shores of Lake Michigan with a classic view of Chicago’s skyline. Funnily enough, when I arrived to the location, there was another proposal under way! Luckily the clapping and family hugs had subsided by the time David and Yoonie arrived, leaving the area free of foot traffic.

Photographing this emotional proposal was an absolute delight! Through choked tears Yoonie said “Absolutely!” to David’s request of marriage. Although the sun was more hidden behind the clouds than we’d hoped for, we still got some glimmers here and there of the sunset 🙂 After the proposal we took a few photos around the area to commemorate the occasion and let it all soak in!
