New Zealand [South Island] Visit

Over the new year we traveled to New Zealand’s South Island. It was summer there, but even so the winds from Antarctica made it feel more brisk than one would expect. Sheep, deer, and cow herds were in abundance and the wildflowers in full bloom. The uncrowded island meant travel on the small highways was easy and unobstructed. It was surprising at times what diversity this island offers. From glacial mountains to swimming in shockingly turquoise waters, New Zealand boasts so much beauty!
