I’m so excited to finally share this session! Trae is a fellow Michigan photographer and also runs the amazing newborn prop shop Devoted Knits. Sometimes as a photographer it’s hard to get photos of *yourself* in front of the camera. Trae has taken many wonderful photos of Scarlett since her birth, but photos of Trae with Scarlett? It’s just not as easy. It was time to change that! This mommy+me session was an purposeful effort to photograph them both together.

Trae pours her heart and soul into everything she does, so it comes at no surprise what a wonderful mother she is to Scarlett. Scarlett is truly one of the happiest babies I have ever met (just wait till you scroll through the photos below!). I was so honored to capture these images for them! What a joy to spend an evening with these two.
